For independent UK restaurants and cafés

Every Google review answered, politely and in your voice.

Most guests read the owner's replies before they book. We write and post a thoughtful reply to every review, good or bad, so you can get on with running the place.

Pay only if you're happy with the replies. No contract, and we never need your password.

What we do

Thank the happy guests

Warm, specific replies to your 4 and 5-star reviews that mention what they enjoyed, not a copy-and-paste "thanks for your review".

Handle the hard ones with care

Calm, professional replies to critical reviews. On most plans we draft these for your approval first and flag them to you the same day.

Keep up, every day

New reviews are answered within 24 hours, including the ones left late at night and at weekends, when your team is busiest.

How it works

  1. Add us as a manager

In your Google Business Profile, go to Settings → People and access (sometimes called Managers), add hello@reviewmanners.com and choose the Manager role. It takes about a minute.

  2. Tell us your tone

A few lines on how you like to sound (friendly, formal, cheeky) and anything we should never say. We match your voice from your existing replies where there are any.

  3. We reply

We clear your backlog within 48 hours, then answer new reviews within 24 hours. Critical reviews can be sent to you for approval before anything is posted.

  4. You stay in control

No password is ever shared. You can see every reply on your profile, and you can remove us from People and access at any time, instantly.

Our promise on honesty

We only reply to real reviews. We never write, buy, filter, hide or incentivise reviews, and we never ask guests to change or remove what they've said.

Replies are posted under your business name, exactly as if you'd written them. We don't make claims about your Google ranking, and we keep replies truthful: if a guest raises a problem, we acknowledge it and invite them to get in touch with you directly.

Who we are

Review Manners is a small, UK-focused service operated remotely. We write in British English for British venues, and working across time zones means reviews left overnight are often answered by the time you open.

Get in touch

Email us and we'll reply within one working day. A one-line "yes, clear our backlog" with your venue's name is all we need to get started.

Don't want to hear from us? Reply "no thanks" to any email and we won't contact you again.

Privacy

  • What we hold: your business name, the contact details you or your public listing provide, and our emails with you. If you add us as a manager, we can see your Google Business Profile and its reviews.
  • How we use it: only to provide and offer this service. Manager access is used only to reply to reviews (and, on Complete, the profile tidy-ups you've asked for). We don't sell or share your data.
  • Reviews: reviews are already public. We don't collect or store reviewers' personal data beyond what is needed to write a reply.
  • This website: uses no cookies, analytics or tracking.
  • Your rights: email hello@reviewmanners.com to see, correct or delete what we hold, or to stop hearing from us. We act on opt-outs within 24 hours and keep a do-not-contact list so it sticks.
